An Overnight at Chipping Norton Camping and Caravan Club Site.
On my way down to Oxfordshire, to pick up my new bike, I camped overnight at Chipping Norton. It’s a lovely site, set in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, actually about two miles from Chipping Norton itself. However there are convenient bus stops right outside the main entrance.

It's a small site but up to the usual Club standards, with excellent facilities and very friendly staff. I have attached a scan of the site plan and added the direction to Chipping Norton, the bus stops and also the farm shop next door. I didn’t have time to see much but I discovered later that the farm shop is owned by Jeremy Clarkson!

The area of grass to the right of the children’s play area might make a good ALC meet site!
I went into the town in the evening, to watch the excellent Inter v Barcelona second leg of the Champions League semi final. However, extra time was played and I didn’t get to bed very early. Then I was awoken at the crack of dawn by the wonderful chorus from all the birds on the site!
By the way, there is no recreation room or similar on this site.
